How do I stabilize the addition on my house?

I have an addition on the back of the house. How do I stabilize that so it will hold an addition on top of it for the second floor with a full bath included?

You need a contractor! This is not a homeowner DIY. If the addition is not stable "as is" it is doubtful it will support a second story. Have a consult with a structural engineer and architect to determine what needs to be done to accomplish your goal!

First order of business is to call a structural engineer. I have more faith in their care for my safety and dollars than I do of any contractor. Once burned.....
