How to clean a carpet with vinegar?

I mix equal parts white vinegar and water in a spray bottle. After I spray the stain, I sprinkle baking soda on the stain and gently rub the stain. After 5-10 minutes I vacuum up the baking soda. I used this on a doggie stain that had discolored my light beige carpet. Can't find the stain it worked so well.

i useed vinager and water to clean ny carpets. it worked great. especially if you have animals or if puppy training, it took the smell out.

My mom used to do this with ride vinegar and an egg beater. You need enough liquid (dilute vinegar) be able to whip with ride into "dry suds". Scrub with brush. Vacuum. Sorry, I think she rinsed, but never got rug really wet.

I use a mix of baking soda and vinegar, sprinkle on the baking soda and put vinegar in a spray bottle and spray on baking soda! Give it a good few minutes then wipe or scrub! Allow to dry and vacuum! Hope this helps!
