Suggestions on best humidifier brands for basement?

I bought a 6 gallon dehumidifier from Amazon by Home Labs. We LOVE it. Such a difference in just 2 weeks.

Spend the few extra dollars and make sure to get one that has a feature called 'continuous drain'. These units have an attachment that you can screw in a short length of common rubber garden hose, then have the end of the hose tucked down into either your floor drain, bathtub drain, or similar.

Having this gives you peace of mind, as not only do you never have to remember to dump out the reservoir, but you also never have to worry about it overflowing.

You might check the Consumers Report annual to see what they have in it. Usually, if something is covered, they give their recommendations and ratings for the best of what is available
