I will show you How To Make A No-Sew Burlap Valance in under 15 minutes. Don’t you just love quick and easy projects? This is also inexpensive costing just a few dollars to make!
Start with a piece of burlap. First, measure the window length and cut the burlap fabric to size. Next fold the top of the fabric over the curtain rod. You can use hot glue to secure it, or brads like I did. As I tend to change things out frequently I didn’t want to use hot glue. If you don’t have brads you can even use safety pins. They are in the back of the fabric so no one will ever know!
Once in place, I simply tied ribbon in place on both sides. The cool thing is you can change out the ribbon if you get sick of it. This cute burlap valance took about 15 minutes to make and was under $5. You can’t beat that!
This is so simple and you can use burlap in a pretty color as well. I saw an aqua one at the craft store the other day that would be perfect as a bathroom valance. They also had lavender! Check out my no-sew burlap pillow here https://ourcraftymom.com/how-to-make-a-pretty-no-sew-spring-pillow/
