I live in red clay country. The water may look clear but it leaves a rust colored stain in my shower and my toilet. Please help!

Gel bleach should remove the stain. Just squeeze it out spread it an let it sit for a while. You’ll be amazed at the results

it really cleans mildew in my shower without scrubbing

and it even cleans the calcium in my toilet

You can put a filter on your plumbing. Are you drinking the same water?

    Hi there

Here are a few ideas to use:

    1. Start with warm water and a nylon brush. ...
    2. Use a water-vinegar solution for mildew stains. ...
    3. Use a paste made from baking soda and water on heavier stains. ...
    4. Use hydrogen peroxide on tough stains. ...
    5. Use store-bought "oxygen bleach" cleaners. ...
    6. Steam your grout back to its original white.

I also agree that perhaps you should get a filter for your water to prevent future staining of the grout?

Make a paste of baking soda and peroxide then apply it to your grout with a toothbrush. Let it sit a little and then remove with a clean cloth.
