Peggy, I think they look beautiful. You can put some longer flowers in your vases so they bend over towards the stone. Also you can buy a frame or I believe they call it a saddle frame and weave flower through it. It goes on top of the stone. Get some butterflies or fairies on small metal stems and put one in each vase.
I like what you have done. I personally think that adding anything else would make it too busy so that it looks more like a jumble of stuff. I really like the built-in vases, there are so many opportunities to change up the floral display through the seasons. You might add greenery in the vases to create more depth, if you do this, I would add it around the base of the flowers so that you get some drape over the urn.
Always use real flowers or plants or cactus.
Hello Peggy, I think your color and arrangement proportion look fine. Good job!
I think you are actually asking for ideas to better proportion the flowers or give them some character. Google 'floral design' and scroll through images to find something you like. Purchase some silk flowers and greenery that are similar to that design. Set a block of Oasis foam into each of the containers and reproduce that look. Don't forget that you can also use outdoor ribbon, small signs (ie: Love you more. Joy. Give thanks, etc.,) and other decorative objects in your floral design that will give it some pop. And my deepest sympathy for your loss.
I would like to thank everyone. My mom past and Im new at this
