My neighbour left an office chair at the curb, so I decided to make use of it

Step 1: I removed the chair from the base. This was not as easy as I expected! That chair was built strong and I required some help getting it apart. And also used my hammer a few times. LOL

Step 2: I drilled holes in a piece of board I had in my garage to line up with the holes on the chair base. Then I used 3” bolts and hex nuts to attach the board to the base that previously held the chair. Voila! Free rolling work bench. I’ve refinished 3 small furniture pieces on it already!  :) It's not pretty, but it's very useful.

Suggested materials:
  • Office chair   (curb)
  • Nuts & bolts   (my garage)

Yea, the cylinders are the first things that go. Still you have a great roll around table. And it won't tip over.
