I’m posting this neat little trick to organize your cupboard area. I recently had family over and they asked for a lid on my ftying pan. Took me forever to find it in my cupboard. I thought how embarrassing and frustrating. I thought, I need some kind of storage for the cupboard to put lids... I don’t want them to break as they mostly are glass.
I went to my local craft store and found this wood crate. For $10 (I had a coupon) I have organized the cupboard and I will never be embarrassed again when some askes for a lid...
Here is the crate I bought at the craft store. It was half the size of the cupboard so plenty of room to fit. I decided not to finish it by painting or stain as really no one will see it.
Here is the hot mess! Glass lids under heavy pans. What a mess...
I took everything out of the cupboard. Organized pans in size and stacked.
Then placed all the lids in my wood crate. I found some in the cupboard I didn’t even know I had!
After all removed I washed the shelves. Start out clean...
Placed crate in cupboard. Did not put anything in front of crate so I could pull out to grab lid I need, then slide back. Cleaned and organized.
Made sure I have clearance to open the drawer with no issue.
