H70. +When you use chalk paint and want to use a transfer, do you wax protect before applying transfer or after?

have not done that project yet... but, I would transfer first then wax... due to the wax being a โ€œprotectantโ€ for the wood. I would think that it would help the transfer stay on the wood and not โ€œtransferโ€ off. IMO

Hi, Linda. I donโ€™t know what H70 isโ€”a secret code? Haha! The deal with chalk paint is that it possibly has a slightly granular or bubbly surface. If so, sand with a very fine sandpaper on the area that will receive the transfer. Then apply the transfer and let it rest a day. Then use the wax or another sealer. Your paint and transfer should last for years with good protection. Best wishes โ˜บ๏ธ
