I take my grill apart (grated remove, drip pan) all the loose parts and lay them on the driveway. Then I power wash everything. Afterwards I line the inside of the grill with heavy duty foil.
Hi Poo9677121, I use oven cleaner on my BBQ. I take the grates off the unit and spray them, let the spray the recommended time, then wash them in a bathtub with hot water and Dawn dishwashing liquid in it. Rinse them, and let them air dry. I use the same kind of oven cleaner on the interior of the BBQ, and after it has worked, use a bucket with hot water & Dawn and an old rag and scrub off all the grease, etc. I make sure to clean the grills every time I use the BBQ so the 'gunk' don't get cooked onto them; this makes them fast & easy to keep nice and clean & ready for the next day.
Use warm soapy water
You could spray with degreeser and wait then hose off
