Ideas on what to do with thread spools?

I attached them to a wall in kids room as hooks for jackets .
Anything you see using wine corks will work for spools. If they are all the same size you can tie and hot glue them together for a tribute. Make a wall decor by gluing them together in a frame. The craft ideas are endless.
