Try looking in charity shops for plastic boxes with lids I have found quite a few this way just make sure you check for cracks in them and the lids before you buy you may be bale to fix the cracks with Gaffer tape hope this helps

  • I purchase plastic bins with plastic drawers in different sizes from Walmart and organize my craft supplies that way. I also have an old open dresser that I have baskets in for bigger items.

Hi, over-the-door shoe holders can be used for a myriad of things: Paint brushes, tubes of paint, wire and wire cutters and pliers can all be put in them. Happy DIY'ing!

Try joining your local Freecycle group online. It's free and the purpose is to keep items we no longer need out of landfills. Nothing is sold on Freecycle. Just post what you are looking for and many times someone will have it and be glad to give it to you. You do the same with your no longer needed items. This can be anything like toys, clothes, books, appliances, furniture, etc. I've given away many items over the years and have also been gifted many items. It's so much fun and you may even meet some good friends! Happy Freecycling!

I googled freecycle-MN and this is the 1st url listed. You search by your city. It's similar to Craigslist except there is never a charge for anything. If anyone tries to get money for something, they're kicked out. You'll get the groups posting rules when you join. My suggestion is the same one police suggest for Craigslist...NEVER go to anyone's home or have them come to your home. ALWAYS have a friend with you and arrange to meet in a public place to pick up or give away things. I prefer meeting at the local police station. I've never had safety problems but would rather be extra careful.

I can't wait to hear how freecycle works out for you. Hope this helps!

Ask at a shoe store for shoe boxes they don't need. Then use craft paper or contact paper to cover the whole box or the ends to make them look uniform, add labels and you have some free storage.
