What is the best way to redo floor?
We have OSB sub flooring and I want to rip out the carpet and redo the floor. I really do not want carpet as we have 2 very heavy shedding dogs and cats. I was wondering if I can use the paper bag method on the OSB board or if anyone has some low cost ideas? The area I'm talking about is 18' x 21' . Would appreciate any suggestions.

Barn wood floors look awesome and all you need to do is find someone taking down an old wood structure like a shed. Once installed and lightly sanded(to prevent splinters) you only need to use something like Thompson’s water seal to protect it.
Linda, I would rip out the carpet and put down laminated floors. It wouldn't be too expensive. You could do it yourself. The people at the flooring place can give you all the information.
