Wonder if there is already such thing or if there could be! Some thing that can be put into our vacuum bag or canister that when u vacuum up fleas and will kill them while there in there!?

  • Interesting! My only concern would be what? And have it shelf stable (in the case of prepackaged vacuum bags), or an additive and non toxic. Start experimenting and see what you come up with. If you hit on a magic potion, be sure to apply for a patent!

True so maybe vacuum up flea powder so it will store in there and when vacuuming it may kill them while in vacuum bag?

You could try putting a flea collar or flea powder into the bag. I checked Google.com and it seems that some vacuums are more effective than others at flea control...the suction, brushes, etc pretty well beat them up or so I read.

The flea laying egg thing that to me inside a vacuum bag could be a closed off dark place to do so. So adding some flea powder inside the bags could possibly help to kill them off before getting out of the egg!?

If u don't have an expensive vacuum cleaner that could chop up them fleas as u vacuum this could be a gd possibity!

Still not saying this will or could be a fool proof way to completely kill off ur hole flea problem!

I also read online somewhere to sprinkle salt all over and leave for a day or 2 then vacuum that the salt would dry them up? Well I did that and I did not see it made no difference at all! I wish I could talk my landlord into putting in hardwood flooring! It serve so many more cleaner purposes!

Buy an inexpensive flea collar at the pet store, and cut it into sections. Put one piece into each vacuum bag until you get rid of the fleas.

To permanently get rid of fleas that are bothering your pet, I found that Seresto collar worked like magic. Pricey, but effective.
