Tips & Tutorial for Installing a Pea Gravel Garden Path

I’ve been working so much in my garden lately and today I thought I’d share my tips and a tutorial on installing a pea gravel garden path. My DIY skills have typically run more in the crafting/cooking/sewing arena, not so much the outdoor DIY landscaping arena, so I was feeling a little nervous about my ability to do this project but thankfully I was fueled by my angst over my existing garden path to give it a whirl.
We have had a little paver path since we moved in and I’ve always kind of hated it. Mostly because the path the builder had created wasn’t a natural flow to the door so I tended to stray off of it, plus the fact that we have terrible drainage here, so whenever it rains the path would get really muddy.
Please hop over to the blog for all the details :-)
This Pea Gravel Garden Path was much easier to create than I thought it would be. I was able to do the entire thing in an afternoon!
This Pea Gravel Garden Path adds such a nice touch to my small townhouse yard.
This is what the yard looked like before... oh, how it needed a makeover!

I was wondering if you are able to walk barefoot on the pea gravel?

@Diane I guess it really depends on how sensitive your feet are. My daughter walks barefoot on ours all the time, but I'm not really a barefoot person so I don't tend to. The stones are pretty rounded though so if your feet aren't super sensitive, I think you'd be fine :-) Hope this helps!!
