Can I paint over kitchen cabs that I previously stripped and stained?
Looking to get a new less heavy look by painting over my kitchen cabinets in a cream color and either do a charcoal glaze or a brown glaze over it. Previously I had light oak cabinets. I hated them so 10 yrs ago i decided to strip them and stain them a deep cherry. I don’t want to use paints that have a strong odor. I watch my grandkids so having strong pain odor is a definite no no. Would chalk paints be good, or Reclaim brand paints?? Looking for something easy and quick.

Take a door to Sherwin Williams Paint store, and tell them what you want and need. Also, since you are going to take the hinges loose to paint the doors and cabinets anyway, take the doors outside or to the garage to paint them. Little more effort, better paint job and odor free "in the house".
Ok. Thanks for the reply.
