How much does it cost to re-stucco a newly stucco house 1359 square ft? Or is it better to paint it with stucco paint?

Is the stucco in good shape? If it needs just minor repairs to fill hairline cracks from earthquakes, a professional painter will include repairs in the price. No need to re stucco, just paint!

Here is a cost estimator for you. I always find their "estimates" to be way off (as in too low), here in the Los Angeles vicinity. Plan on at least $5,000 and 3-5 days for the project. They can't paint after temps rise above 90°.
There is a new paint that is just for stucco but which must be applied by a professional. You could use an exterior latex which you can do yourself. Fix any patches and prime them before starting your final coat.
