Hi, I would like to know how to kill the grass around the base of a tree without harming the tree itself. Any information is greatly appreciated, thank you.
Hi Laurie, I think any plant or tree can definitely be moved and transplanted. Wait until either late fall or early spring and when you go to remove the tree from the ground make sure you are well away from it. The more dirt and excess you can take the better around where the roots are. Of course transplanting is not always a sure thing.
Thanks so much!
Laurie, aspen trees are really just branches. Under the ground, there's a trunk that connects all the visible trees. The root system is under that. They do not grow like most trees.
