How can I tile over formica?

It looks pretty simple as Formica is particle wood and gives tile what it needs which is: a solid base.

That is a new process with a new product. You can tile directly over the Formica using tile mastic. Thinset will not hold to Formica.

You need to sand down so the surface is ruff so it grabs glue
