Alternative to tile for backsplas?
As much as I like tile and I think it's great as a backsplash. What else can you do to create a nice decorative backsplash in the kitchen without using tile?

Depending on the style of your kitchen you can purchase pretty metal tiles in silver or a copper color with decorative designs on them. Just a thought!
Reverse paint on glass, frame it, and mount to wall. Makes it much easier to change your style.
I have seen people use Shiplap instead of tiles.
If the backsplash area is painted, you coul stencil a design on it. If it is already tiled, there are some decals you can put on some of them.
