How do I remove paint from my concrete floor?

At one time we painted our great room floor after removing the carpet. Now we want to put tile down but have to remove the paint first. I do not want any paint powder to invade my house and air conditioner.

Strip it with Kleen Strip and a scraper.

  That does not work on the concrete because it is down in the small holes and divets and I have to keep the VIC’s down because of my dogs. Thanks for trying.

  Having worked in the concrete business, the other options are diamond grinding and wet grinding.
  If you are worried about your dogs, make a safe area for them outside or consider putting them into dog boarding for the day. Put large fans in the area to exhaust fumes is what I have always done to make the area liveable.
