If room allows you could lay it on it's back, put casters on all four corners and slide under a bed for hidden storage.
If it's narrow enough to fit in the ends of a closet, back in the recess, it's great storage for purses and shoes. I once put one right in the middle of my closet and positioned the rods on both sides, one high for long things and the side one high and one low. :)
I’m still working on it, but I have changed a bookcase into a four shelf open cabinet for all my kitchen appliances. Two crockpots, a mixer, two blenders a food processor, a one cup nut chopper, etc. each one has a certain job or jobs that another appliance couldn’t do, usually because of size. It only took a yard of space and has been so helpful. I am still recovering the inside of the shelves. Maybe this is an option for you, too!! Best wishes ☺️
