How can replace part of the wood on elevated back deck?

    If the wood pieces are installed with screws, this is an easy fix. If they're nailed in, you'll either have to try accessing the boards from below to pound out the nails; cut off the nails and use a small sledge to pound the boards from below ; or use a pry bar to loosen the boards. All new boards should be screwed into place with appropriate deck screws to facilitate future repairs.
