How do you build a screened in porch under a deck?

    Hi Wendy. If there is no solid surface under the deck, that's the first course of action. Next, frame out the structure, pressure nail into the surface and the deck. Section out the wall studs to comfortly nail the screening into the studs. Stretch out screening and nail or staple (I prefer staples). Use a premade or make a door. Trim out above the door with screening. Trim out on the exterior to cover any nail or staples using screws for easy removal to replace any screening when necessary. Happy DIY'ing!

    Thank you for the answer. Do you have an idea on how to keep the water out from the deck above? I would assume some kind of ceiling but with what and how.
