A Faux Copper Backsplash

Have you been wanting to add a back splash in your kitchen? Here's a super easy project that will give you some inspiration!

I teamed up with a Hometalker in my community who had wanted to transform her bathroom for a while but needed a bit of help and guidance. With my help, we created a space she loved!

If you're in the Houston area, I can help you create this look for your home! Click here to see how I can help you & send me a message to get started!
We started with a roll of textured wall paper. It was nice and heavy duty but it was white and kind of boring. A few coats of beautiful copper paint transformed the simple wallpaper!
After you've measured and marked, cut the roll so that it will fit on the wall under your cabinets.
Use wallpaper paste and press onto the wall. Use your hands to smooth out any wrinkles. Luckily the paste is pretty forgiving!
Next, use an xacto knife to trim the edges.
You'll also need the xacto knife to trim around any light sockets.
The homeowner loved her new copper backsplash!

I really like that .I wonder how much work it would be to get it on a ceiling correctly and how long it would last?

  • You can do this to large Styrofoam tiles too, light weight and use good glue that adheres fast! I have it on two ceilings in my house! We've used in showers too without any problems! I buy them on Amazon. The cut and hang so easily!
