Ideas for old windows ?

Need ideas. I I am doing a total remodel on a large house and I have removed some old windows. I am trying to decide if they are worth the effort of saving them. If anyone has any ideas that would thrill my wife as a gift later or something I could sell (not likely in our family) then maybe they are worth the time and energy. Thx 🙂

OMG! Yes! They are totally worth saving! If you don't want them I'll take them!

If you were near enough to pick them up I would give them to you. I have 3 more wooden windows to remove so I can afford to spare a few.

HI Jason. I would use them as picture frames.

You would be able to sell these in a heartbeat! If you decide you are not going to do a project with them--don't throw them away!

You're in Indiana? My uncle lives there, I love it! My husband and I are moving there actually soon lol to scottsburg with that many you can make something bigger. Like a folding room divider or if you have a porch they look really amazing chained together and hung with or without window boxes, at the edge. I have ideas for days....

Wish you were close by, I’d give you some. I still have windows to remove. As you can see I’m totally remodeling our next house. Three plus acres in town. Two stories 4 bed 3 or maybe 4 bathrooms. Large detached garage. I plan to add an attached garage later and a pole barn for family gatherings. This will be our retirement home.

I need ideas that help me make plans or I can’t justify them taking up space

I actually used a window like that as a gift myself. The first step was to simply glue a poster of a pretty view to the wooden frame behind the window. (so the poster is seen thru the front) Then I made and attatched a simple narrow 'window box' with flowers. The recipient loved it and hung it in her kitchen immediately. Pretty simple to do and you can pick the view and flowers depending on your wife's taste. Hope this helps!

Here's an idea for you. Paint the window and add a shelf to the bottom. Hang a wreath and you have a beautiful decorative wall shelf! Read all about this one here --->> http://bit.ly/2KusZLC
