What can I do with this space?

Help creatives!
Unfortunately, this side yard space goes pretty unused (one persons day there one time in over 6-mos). It’s a nice width and potential platform or space for something, but I have no idea what! This area gets early sun and then shade in the afternoon.
I have two kids ages 12 & 10 who love being outside but rarely spend time here (unless on a Slip’N Slide in the grassy part).
For you clever-minded creative thinkers, what can you envision? If it’s helpful, we already have a patio table set and sitting area that’s used regularly.

I would make that sitting are larger, it looks too small especially if you would to entertain out there. Change the color of the fence, it is too drab. Get some hangers and put flower pots in the hangers along the fence. (maybe every 8 feet or so apart.Get flowers that will hang down.
Maybe paint a big wall mural of flowers on the back of the house. I would also add a folding table right under your window. Hooked to the house. not a wide one but maybe 6' long, making sure it can be hooked on the back of the house when not in use.
Im sitting here imaging this is my territory and I want to fix it up. I don't know but I hope I gave you some kind og ideas.

Plants would add a nice touch. You can keep them in pretty colored planters and pots. A tree in the corner would be pretty. I've seen planters with viney plants growing on a trellis, spaced in front of a back wall.
Carol's answer is right on the money! Any chance you can add electricity - can you punch through the house wall and add a special outdoor outlet -- it would be nice to have a small fountain or a light or a table fan-- add candles in windproof containers on the table
and a few places on the lawn to add ambience.
It's hard to say as we don't know what your entire yard looks like. We for instance have a seating area that is covered by a grape vine. Since we do many creative/repair projects we also have a space for a work table on opposite side of the yard. Kids seem to love hammocks. We have a wisteria pergola (much more abundant now than in photo)
Oops forgot to say I love Boston ivy on our fence. It can be seen from d.r. and since ivy has a movement it is a nice backdrop to an unattractive view.
I really envy you this little space, especially as you have sun in the morning for the flowers and shade in the afternoon for you. People have given some great ideas already, but I would just like to add that painting the table and chair set might be a good idea to brighten up the yard very cheaply. Try Krylon spray paints. They have some great colors.
I'm not going to suggest anything about the design, just about how to use it.
Since you already have a table set seating are that are often used, I would suggest this area could be for your kids.
I don't know what do they like to do, mine love reading and I was imagining a hammock or a comfortable round swing.
Adding some plants would make it great.

I'd either put in a barbeque area, or a firepit, with yard plants or. Something to dress it up.
Or keep it the way you have it, add hanging flowers. Maybe a small pergola overtop.
