How would I install corner molding when installing bead board. Would it be on top of the bead board or at the side?

On top of the bead board. It would cover any uneven edges in the bead board and corner.

I don't think I put the question correctly. My question was about CORNER vertical not on top.

Generally . i think the molding is intended to cover the GAP between the verticla and the horizontal surfaces ( like caulk around the egde of a tub). So, the molding goes over the other two surfaces.

I am asking about CORNER vertical not on top

Exactly. Bead board on the wall butted in the corner. Then the corner molding over the bead board. Not all corners are perfect. The molding conforms to the corner hiding any imperfections.

  • I put it on the top to cover the gaps. Then caulk it well. Caulk really hides the imperfections. Good luck.
