How do if put another step on this pull down ladder?

It was in stalled the wrong way and they will not fix it.

    It looks like it was installed correctly but whoever installed it didn't measure the angle correctly. Your missing an extra bottom step. Cut a board that will fit snugly between the rails. Measure the distance from one step to the next. Wedge the board between the two rails same distance. Set the same angle of the board to match the existing steps. Predrill two screw holes from the outside of the rails into the board on each side. Use a 1/8" drill bit. Screw into the rails and into the board with 1 1/2" to 2" screws.

    I would measure the size between the ladder uprights to see the width you need and the length. Go to your local home improvement center and see what you and an associate can find. I would say use a board you would use when installing steps, it should be strong enough to handle weight without a problem. The associate will also be able to advise you on what to use to secure the wood to the ladder to make sure it is safe to stop on and last.. With you measurements of the step needed and the pictures you show here, you should have another step on the ladder in no time.
