How do I best sand down, paint and polyurethane tiles?

I have white ceramic floor tiles in kitchen and bath from 1978 that I would like to update with Grey paint. Thank you!!!

You can definitely paint your tile! We painted our entry way tile. We did a stencil, but you don't have to use a stencil, you could just skip that step! It's a labor of love, but so worth it and budget friendly!
