I know that opinions vary, but what's your opinion?!I have great luck w Rosemary plants. Green all year long.
That looks like purslane, you can eat it! Seriously, it is an edible. As long as you haven’t treated it with anything you can add it to a salad. It spreads by seed, so if you keep pulling it before it blooms you will get rid of it. Have you tried vinegar? That should work too! Good luck!
Vinegar every few days until they’re DEAD! DEAD! DEAD!
old fashioned way but we use to use just plain old table salt....dont get it on your grass though....
One cup of vinegar, one cup of salt, to one gallon water in a garden sprayer. Saturate the weeds with the mixture. Make sure no rain for at least four days. The object is to get down to the roots.
Vinegar or roundup
Vinegar or boiling water will dry and kill them out. When I did my walk path I laid a thick layer of mulch down first and so far it's pretty sweet.

I use rock salt (which can be purchased year round as water softening salt) in a large bag at the hardware store. Works really well with large rock areas, which I also have. Great on gravel driveways, too, just don't get it on the lawn or use it on other areas where there are plants.
I did the same thing as you did but instead of using landscape cloth........I used packing bubble sheets. I recently moved and had large pieces of the bubble wrap.....so I used it. Been 2 months now and no weeds have popped through.
Hi. My go to weed killer is 1/4c salt, 2tbsp dish soap, 1 c vinegar to a gallon of water in a spray bottle for two days. Works every time for me and last for a long time. It will kill grass, though. I absolutely love it for the cracks in my walk way and around the base of my deck. I hope this helps! And good luck getting rid of those pesky weeds!😊
If it were not for the dogs, I would say eat it! But.... When I can, I always pour the boiling water from the canner on the weeds around my back steps. That boiling vinegared water will even kill canadian thistle. Thistle will eventaully rear its ugly head again from the superdeep roots but this little plant will not.
Weeds tend to grow better in acidic soil, so if you neutralize the area with liquid lime, it should kill the purslane.
