Our New Wishing Pond

Kim Wolfe
by Kim Wolfe
I have always wanted a small pond and initially we were going to use a round baby pool for the base. But the liners were too expensive for the size, so we shored it up bricks we had leftover and ordered a small pond kit. We also had the limestone leftover that lined it. It is now a Wishing Pond, toss a shiny penny and make a wish!
Pre plants and mulch. Total cost around $80. $59. for the pond kit ( liner, motor, fountain and 2 fake lily pads ), plants and mulch.
The best part is that we filled up the entire pond from our rain barrel.
