Sturdiest method to attach a 40 x 80" or 40 x 120" Polycarbonate canopy above my patio door that would structurally withstand measurable snowfalls

Thank each of you for attempting to assist... This is the type of canopy I plan to purchase... The concern is for proper attachment to fiber cement lap siding... as carpenters are unable to agree on best methodology
