How to get rid of mold on a honeysuckle vine?

I'd like to know if there is a cure, not just a yearly "fix". I also have clematis and wisteria which are not affected.

It gets that way from to much moisture. Spray the entire plant & soil with fungicide. Or...you can treat it with a mix of 1 tablespoon of Baking Soda, 1/2 teaspoon of liquid soap, 1 gallon of water.

Hi Pat, some varieties of honeysuckle vine are very susceptible to fungus. If you are seeing it every year, I don't believe there's a cure for it. If it were a plant in my garden, I would try cutting it all the way back at the end of the season. Next spring, I would treat it with a fungicide just as the plant is waking up and you're seeing new growth. Then continue to treat it for a few weeks into the growing season. Good luck and happy gardening!
