How to fix a leaking shower faucet ?

The faucet in the shower is leaking and driving me nuts. It’s a one handle turn on and off.

All depends on the brand but basically the same. Washer or cartridge needs to be replaced.

Unscrew it at the base. Put some plumbers tape around it and screw the head back on.
