We used wasted space on the wall to add three good sized shelf's.

I asked hubby to do this project, the room needed something over the bed. He bought the wood and painted two coats of navy paint on each side of the wood.

Another view before the bed was put back in the out-cove. Hubby screwed in small pieces of wood to support the shelf's. He painted them with the wall paint.
