Hi there. I found this article that I think could help you with the armadillos.

I am in NY so this made me giggle. Sorry I don’t have a solution for you. Hope you get rid of them. We have wood chucks ruing our yard.

Those ‘dillos can dig so fast and they can bump their shells against the house foundation. So much so that it sounds as if the house will fall! Nightly, we had these and another digging animal called a salamander. Not a lizard, but a type of mole. We couldn’t have any flowerbed near the house because of these two animals. Our neighbors in Louisiana finally got us some traps, then some chicken wire nailed across the foundation, and eventually we got two dogs that kept snakes, armadillos, salamanders, and bobcats away from the house. We loved our country neighbors and they loved us. Maybe one of these three solutions will help you. Best wishes ☺️

get a live trap, some hardware stores rent them, and put it where you find they have dug the grass up looking for grubs, bait the trap with canned cat food and leave it over night, when you catch them in the trap relocate them to a wild life area where they can be freed

There really isn't any bait that you can use to trap them. Baiting the trap with cat food you will trap cats, possum and raccoons but not armadillo. Armadillo have to just wander into the trap. We have trapped quite a few that way. They are always digging under the buildings on our property and sometimes live under there. We have a homemade wooden trap that has doors on either end that we have had success with but we have also had success with the standard metal live trap. We place the trap where we know they are active and then place boards along the ground leading to the entrance to the trap in essence guiding them into the trap. They have very poor eyesight so that method seems to work.
