The obvious would be to box it all up and push it all to one side, and sort it once you are done, but if you know now what you are prepared to move on, then now's the time! Good luck!

I always start with 3 big boxes or bags with labels... KEEP. DONATE, and TRASH. There are many organizations that will come to your home and pick up your donated items. The trash goes to the curb and then the keep items should be organized into plastic bins with lids and labels. There are also organizations that will come to your home and haul away the junk. Haha, mine is a disaster, but I think I’m going to make more shelf units and start storing my smaller items, crafts, and supplies in large Rubbermaid bins. I’m also going to attempt to purge and donate or throw out the larger stuff I don’t use. It’s so hard for me to get rid of stuff because I’m always thinking of projects that might put my junk to good use. Ahhh, but I think I’m a bit of a hoarder.
