Place several layers of white paper towels under the stain. Apply rubbing alcohol to the stain. Blot - do not rub - to remove.

If it’s from an ink pen, andbyou have not laundered the item yet, spray with hair spray and let sit then wash but only hang, to dry. If the stain Is still there but lighter, repeat until gone.

If it’s from a Sharpie, place stain over a bowl or bucket and pour milk through the stain (I know it sounds weird but it actually works) , do this several times then blot too and bottom with clean white cotton or paper towels. Repeat until not too much color is coming out then soak the stained area in milk for a while, allowing enzymes in the milk to penetrate the stain (warning this could take over 24 hours) then blot some more, when no more color is coming out, pour rubbing alcohol through the stain and blot some more, ALWAYS use a clean towel to blot or the color can transfer back onto the garment. Wash as usual but DO NOT put in the dryer. Repeat as necessary until the stain is gone. This could take a number of repeats but it does work.

Isopropyl (first aid) Alchohol works on most surfaces. Test first! Perfect for ink stains on clothing.
