Simple. Just plant the seeds according to the package directions for depth and spacing. The good thing about window box is you are adding the soil so it is already soft dirt. When you plant them in the ground you have to really till the soil and remove all stones. If you are using potting soil, plant the seeds, keep them water and enjoy. Mine were a little tough this year on the outside since our weather was either too much rain or not enough, and I have a tough clay soil to deal with.
