Use Fresh Cucumbers. To keep yellow jackets and wasps away from your patio, without spraying harsh and toxic chemicals around the area, you can use fresh cucumbers to ward off these pesky insects. To accomplish this, cut a fresh cucumber into many slices and place them in a single layer on an aluminum pie dish.

Hang a paper bag (like a lunch bag) next to the feeder. The bees think it’s a nest and will stay away. It doesn’t bother the humming birds

Buy 1 Large Mature Tarantula. They feed on any Garden Insects, and eat Wasps, Yellow Jackets and other Pests, but seldom do these eat or harm Hummingbirds, which is a Plus compared to other Spray or Poison options, which do indeed have potential to harm hummingbirds and other attractive fowl, bees and even earthworms.
