Always fun to take your creativity and make a beautiful piece of Art!!!
Grab some supplies!
To start with - let's grab some supplies and a blank canvas (whatever size you would like - my canvas was 18" x 24").

The supplies I used for this project was some paint, stencils and a roller.

Texture and base coat
I started with a blank stretched canvas and some Texture Medium (by ArtsSyVille Embellishments) and the Tiger Roller.

I troweled the Texture Medium onto the canvas (you could also brush if you don't have a trowel) and while it was wet, I rolled the Tiger pattern roller through the wet Texture Medium. Allow the Texture Medium to dry and then do a light sanding to remove any of the rough "highs" that are created from the product "peaking" as you roll through.

Then get you base coat paint - I used General Finishes Coastal Blue and painted on two coats. Allow this to dry.
Supplies for canvas art!
Now I have this fabulous textured canvas to create on - just enough to create some beautiful interest in the back ground.

My next step was to find a few stencil designs and layer the patterns using Modern Masters Metallic paints - Warm Silver and Champagne. I also embossed another design using my Glass Bead Gel :)

Completed Canvas
There are some many options and this is just one fun way to create custom art for your home or studio! Take a minute to watch the complete video showing you my complete process as I paint and layer this project.
