2 ways. If you have the box it came in you can cut the top or bottom off. Tape the other end closed. Cover the box with contact paper, gift wrap, or even material gluing it to the box like a package. Then you just slip the box over the fryer. If you want to sew a cover you will need to measure the height & diameter of the fryer. Measure the top & add this to the height. You can then sew up the tube on the side, hem the bottom. The top you will see a basting stitch around to gather it then gather add sew together on the inside. Turn inside out & you should be able to slide cover over fryer.
I would use a canvas material and measure the largest front to back and side to side inches. cut the canvas into 3 pieces, 2 for teh sides and one that will go over the fryer back to front. when you cut it, give yourself an extra 1/4" on all sides for selvage.sew together and roll teh edges and sew down.
