What to replace 2 bushes with?
We had to take out two bushes and need to put something else in. We would like something that would be red, at least part of the year. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Japanese maples, they grow slowly and are gorgeous. You can trim them back so they don’t get too large.

Ixora gets nice red flowers but I have no idea how well it grows outside of Florida. If you live in the South poinsettia plants stay red for a long time and grow quite large.
