Can you show how to pant make it look like brass??

Almost anything old thing you want to paint should be sanded, both to make it smooth and to take off at least the top layer of whatever had been on there. Then wipe down with a damp rag or tack cloth to pick up dust.

Next you'll want a spray paint in a brass color. Rust-Oleum is always good; there are other good brands out there. Read all the label directions. Some may need a primer first.

As for painting itself, use a dustfree area. Cover your area with newspaper, painters cloth, or plastic. (If you have a forced air furnace, don't work in front of it.) Do several light coats and let it dry well in between. If this is your first time spraying, maybe practice on a smaller, less valuable piece to get your technique in hand. Good luck, Geraldine! Hi Geraldine! I love the new spray paints that are metallic. I'm very pleased with the outcome of a recent project I did with Rustoleum paint. Clean your project really well and invest in some Rustoleum brass paint. Light coats over a period of a few hours will give you a gorgeous finish.
