My new portable flower shoppe really needed a sign and I really loved this reverse printing on glass technique. Hope you like it.
So here we go
This is a frame that a friend gifted me with. It was the perfect shape and size for this project. I started by removing the backing and mat.
Then I dry brushed some teal onto the frame. I really liked the silver and just wanted to highlight the scroll work with some color.
Then I turned my attention to the lettering on the glass.
I printed out the lettering, taped the letters to the back of the glass and using a black sharpie/oil marker I outlined the letters on the front of the glass. What I did later, and do not have a close-up pic of was to add small flowers and other designs to the inside of the letters, just to give them some depth. (you can see it a little in the final photo)
glued the glass back into the frame and using "L" brackets, attached the frame/sign to the paper flower display.
And this is the sign attached to the flower display. Probably going to add "arms" to the back of the display so it is self-standing...that's a project for another day.

Happy crafting everyone!
