Is there a sure-fire way to get rid of Creeping Charley?
I use plain boiling water or a simple mixture of equal parts water and white vinegar. Both work great.
This is not an exact science – approximate measures are totally fine 1 gallon white vinegar and cup Epsom salts and ¼ cup liquid dish soap Combine ingredients in spray bottle and treat weeds at the hottest time of day for best results.
Buy the 9% pickling vinegar, I have tried repeatedly to use the 5% vinegar that everyone says to use and it did not kill one weed in my driveway. I soaked the plant and a week later they were healthy as ever.
Buy the 20 or 30% acidity vinegar. It's more expensive actually quite a bit so. But regular strength vinegar doesn't do the job at all not even mixed with table salt
Recipe: 1 gallon white vinegar, 1/3 cup Epsom salts, 1/3 cup Dawn dish soap (blue kind).
