How can I help my beautiful elephant ears out ? They are looking sad !
We have had a lot of rain this summer, and as always in Georgia , it’s been very humid. They were doing great, but now they look very pitiful. I have given them plant food, and even sprinkled coffee grounds on them. I don’t want them to die, please help !

If they've had a lot of hot sun, which we have had in VA, plus the dump of rain early in the season, the sun will burn the leaves. Mine did not do very well this year either. I just let them die out and they come back next spring. I usually don't dig them up, as you're supposed to, but I think I might this year, then plant them in the spring.
Hi Cindy. I'm Cindy too. Remove the dead leafs and any other debris from the plants. Then dissolve one tablespoon of Epson Salt in a gallon of water. Sprinkle it on the soil at the base of your plants. Follow with more water. The extra water will help the roots receive the E Salt. This method is putting enzymes back into your soil Repeat once a week. Next Spring dig up and split them. Best of luck to you.
