Can I paint my popcorn ceiling?
I have been painting my walls and notice that my ceiling looks yellowish. Can I paint this ceiling as well? I'm up for any ideas
No. No. And no. You do not say where it is. You can "permanently" tile over it with new tile, without removing the old. Go to the home store and ask them about the mastic made to go over ceramic and porcelain. I have done this in commercial and residential rooms and entrances, that have now seen traffic for over 20 years. This is your best option. They make ceramics that look like wood too, in grey tones, browns, etc. The Home Stores also have free clinics where they will teach you how to lay tile.
I did it and followed instructions - but it did not last, only a few months before it started chipping and peeling. Either pull up and replace or put down an accent rug.
