I drop some varnish on a terrace porous tile. I wiped it but the tile is stained. How do I remove the stain from the tile?

There is probably nothing that will take it out. I got stain on the brick of my gas log stove, there for every.

Wet the tile.....pour a huge amount of table salt.....let stand 24 hours......vacuum up the salt and the stain should be gone. You can do it a second time if needed.

Your options are guided by the type of varnish it is. If it is a water-based varnish you can try soap and water, or ‘Denatured Alcohol’. If it is an oil-based varnish you can try lacquer thinner, or ‘Acetone’. Also, if the varnish has a slick, shiny appearance, scrape it lightly with a single-edged razor blade.
